My name is Larry McKelvey and I consider myself a lucky man to live, work and play in Angel Fire. I grew up in southwestern Oklahoma and as a child traveled to Red River with my family. Those visits left me with a desire to live in New Mexico - especially the northern part of the state. I moved to Albuquerque in 1972 where I was food service director for Presbyterian Healthcare Services. After a visit to Angel Fire I fell in love with the area and in 1988 purchased my first vacation home here. In 1997, seeking a simpler life, I moved to Angel Fire full-time. I began my career as a broker in 2001 and have over 30 million in sales since that time.
Clients often say to me "Larry, I want your life." When not selling real estate, I work as ski instructor for Angel Fire Resort in winter and play golf as much as possible in summer. My wife of 16 years, Patti Galliher, and I, along with our faithful dog Molly, enjoy playing host to family: my two children, Casey and Meghan, and my three grandchildren, Kyla, Alanna and Ty.
